Index Description
The Emerging Markets Alternative Energy Index is a 30 stock market capitalization weighted index designed to measure the market performance of companies in the alternative energy industry of emerging markets. The index consists of common stocks listed on the primary exchanges of emerging markets and ADRs & GDRs (listed on US and European exchanges, respectively). The index was incorporated on September 21, 2007.
