Index Description
The Low Volatility BRIC Dividend Index is a 30 stock dividend yield weighted index designed to measure the market performance of companies in the BRIC (Brazil, Russia, India & China) nations that have a high dividend yield and low beta. The index consists of securities listed on the primary stock exchanges of the aforementioned BRIC nations and ADRs & GDRs (traded on US and European exchanges, respectively). The index was incorporated on September 21, 2007.
