Index Description
The Low Volatility South Africa Dividend Index is a 30 stock dividend yield weighted index designed to measure the market performance of companies in South Africa that have a high dividend yield and low beta. The index consists of common stocks listed on the primary stock exchange of South Africa and ADRs & GDRs (traded on US and European exchanges, respectively). The index was incorporated on September 21, 2007.
